Asean best selling cars ranking in 2023 is still dominated by the Toyota Hilux (-10.1%), followed by the Isuzu D-Max (-24.3%). The Toyota Avanza rises 1 spot into 8th (+11.0%). The Honda HR-V grows 17.9% into 5th spot.

Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is an economic free trade area in South Asia, including the following nations: Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

With regard to the regional best-selling cars ranking, in 2023 the leadership is still in the hands of the Toyota Hilux, produced in Thailand, ahead of its competitors with 195,777 units sold (-10.0%), followed closely by the Isuzu D-Max with 148,020 cumulative sales (-24.3%).

The Perodua Myvi closes the podium with 123,084 sales (+9.2%), followed by the Honda City with 104,008 units sold (-5.5%) and the Honda HR-V -up 2 spots- with 98,696 new registrations (+17.9%).

In sixth place ranks the Mitsubishi X-Pander -down 1 spot- with 93,927 units sold (-6.6%), followed by the Toyota Vios -down 1 spot- at 87,593 registrations (-6.2%) and the  Toyota Avanza -up 1 spot- with 84,903 sales (+11.0%).

Closing the leaderboard, the Ford Ranger -up 1 spot- ranks in 9th with 75,252 units sold this year (+2.2%) and the Perdue Bezza rises 1 spot into 10th with 73,806 cumulative sales (+9.3%).
