Danish Automotive Industry celebrates 2014 new all-time record, the fourth in a row fueled by the huge demand for low emission vehicles. Tesla in December sold three times more than Mini.

Danish Auto Sales shines in 2023. Car passenger sales have been 172.179 (+16.5%) fueled by EVs and hybrid models. Tesla jumps on top of the market reporting a huge +640%.

Denmark Best-selling cars ranking in 2022 sees only small or compact models among top sellers, with the Peugeot 208 in pole position. Toyota Aygo X enters Top 10 for first time.

Danish Auto Sales in 2022 close at 148,298 (-20.0%), the lowest since 2010. In December the market fell for the 4th month in a row, reporting 15,219 new registrations (-14.4%).

Danish Car Market stayed flat in 2024, with 173,057 units sold (+0.2%). Volkswagen claimed the top spot as best selling brand, posting impressive growth also in EV sales, while Telsa lost grounds.

Danish Auto Sales in 2018 fell down 1.5%, keeping the negative tone of last year, ending with registrations at 218.592. Volkswagen led the market, ahead of Peugeot and Toyota, while Citroen - up 11.5% - jumped in 4th position.

Only small or compact models are reported in the ranking among top sellers because of the high taxation system. The best-seller this year is the Peugeot 208, followed closely by the Citroen C3. The Ford Kuga impresses and reaches 3rd place.

Denmark Best-selling cars ranking in 2023 has the Tesla Model Y as new market leader with the best performance in the Top 10 (+675.8%), followed by the Peugeot 208 (+53.9%).
