Portuguese Auto Market has marginally improved - up 2.4% - in 2018 with registrations at 227.441, keeping the positive trend of recent years. Renault is the market leader, ahead of Peugeot and Mercedes.

Portugal's car market in 2021 rises just 0.8% with 146,637 sales, reporting a positive performance only in Q2 because of the extremely low sales in Q2 2020. Peugeot overtakes the previous leader Renault, and rises 11%.

Portugal Best Selling Cars Ranking 2023 is lead by the Peugeot 2008 (+12.8%) followed by the Dacia Sandero (+27.1%). Tesla Model 3 gains 49 spot, joining the top 10.

Portugal Best Selling Cars in the 2017 with the strong leadership of Renault Clio untouched. The last generation of Nissan Qashqai and Citroen C3 have escalated the ranking landing respectively in fourt and seventh places.
