Denmark Best Selling Cars Ranking in 2025. The Skoda Elroq leaped across the rankings and secured 1st, overtaking the Tesla Model Y which dropped into 2nd. The Tesla Model 3 also fell sharply out of the rankings, while the Kia EV3 and Renaut R5 secured a spot.
The Danish passenger car market is characterized by small and compact vehicles, unlike the rest of the Scandinavian countries where larger and more expensive models dominate. This is due to the peculiarity of local taxation.
Looking at the Top 50 rankings up to November 2025, the best seller in Denmark became the Skoda Elroq -up 212 spots- with a 5.9% share, followed by the Volkswagen ID.4 in 2nd (+46.9%) and the Tesla Model Y -down 2 spots- in 3rd (-30.9%).
The Volkswagen ID.buzz -up 27 spots- ranked 4th (+303.3%), in front of the Skoda Enyaq -down 1 spot- in 5th (+10.5%), the Volkswagen ID.3 -up 1 spot- in 6th (+74%), the Volkswagen T-Roc -up 2 spots- in 7th (+35.5%) and the Audi Q4 -down 4 spots- in 8th (-32.2%).
The Kia EV3 surged 118 spots into 9th while the Renault R5 -up 203 spots- closed the Top 10.
