Greece best selling cars ranking in the 2018 again dominated the Toyota Yaris, followed by the Volkswagen Polo – gaining 6 positions – and the Fiat Panda. Outstanding performances were registered by the Hyundai i10 and the Ford Fiesta.
In the 2018 the car passenger’s market continued the fast recovering. Indeed, following the positive tone of recent years, this year sales have grown 17.4%, signing the 6th consecutive annual gain and a six-digit score for the first time since 2010, with 103.436 units sold. However, we are still far from the 2007 all-time record.
As in the 2017 the local best-selling model was again the Toyota Yaris totalling a first half sales of 6.543 units sold, (+18.8%) gaining a wide gap from the followers.
The second place the Volkswagen Polo with 3.815 sales (+55.1%) followed by the Fiat Panda with 3.796 sales (+20.9%), the Peugeot 208 with 3.638 units (+25.1%), the Opel Corsa with 3.524 units (+5.5%) and the Nissan Micra with 2.959 sales (+4.1%).
In seventh place the Renault Clio with 2.951 (+15.7%) followed by the Citroen C3 with 2.897 (+24%), the Nissan Qashqai with 2.882 (+11.8%) and in 10th place by the Hyundai i20 with 2.247 (+7.6%).
