Japan Best Selling Cars ranking in 2023 updated with the Top 50 models is lead by the Honda N-Box. Toyota Sienta reports a 92.0% increase in sales from 2022. Toyota Prius enters the top 10 (+203.4%).
Looking at the top Japanese Best Selling Models in 2023, the leadership is maintained by the Honda N-Box with 231,386 sales (+14.4%) in front of the Toyota Yaris with 194,364 new registrations (+15.3%).
Thanks to the last generation exploit, the Daihatsu Tanto protects 3rd place with 159,392 sales (+47.8%).
In fourth place ranks the Toyota Corolla -down 1 spot- with 154,870 units sold (+17.7%) followed by the Toyota Sienta -up from 15th spot- with 132,332 sales (+92.0%) and the Suzuki Spacia with 122,275 (+22.0%).
The Daihatsu Move ranks in 7th with 104,557 sales (+10.2%) ahead of the Nissan Note with 102,508 (-6.9%), the Toyota Roomy -down 4 spots- with 100,800 sales (-7.7%).
The Toyota Prius -up 25 spots- closes the top 10 with 99,149 sales (+203.4%).
