Martinique autos market in the 2017 hit the new all time record sustained by strong private and fleet demand. Sales improved only 2.7%, after the boom reported in the previous year. Peugeot market leader ahead of Renault and Dacia.
Martinique autos market is quite stable around the 15.000 annual units and after a slow period, with 2015 hitting the lowest level in 15 years, the return of a strong consumer demand is sustained the market and in the 2017 the new all time record was hit, with 14.890 sales, up from the previous year.

The island is a French territory and this is clear walking on the roads, as the most of circulating cars are made in France. In the 2017, market leader was Peugeot with 2.577 units (-0.5%), ahead of Renault with 2.330 (-8.4%) and Dacia with 1.600 (+8.9%).
