In 2014 Moldova Vehicles Market rose 15% thanks to strong sales by the leader Dacia that improved share at 25%. Last quarter of the year was roaring with Dacia Logan shining.
In December 2014, according to data released by Ceauto.hu, the total Light Passengers vehicles sold in Moldova have been 487, posting a robust 46.2% from the correspondent month last year.
Full Year 2014 sales Moldova have been 5.020, up 15.6% from year ago.
The “domestic” player Dacia kept a market share above 25% selling in the year 1.285 units (+20.2%) more than the double of the first follower, Skoda, which sold 552 vehicles (-8.6%) for a market share of 11.0%.
Third was Toyota with 410 sales (-12.4%). The podium was unchanged from 2013.
As far as best-selling models ranking, the Dacia Logan was on top of the list with 861 units (+46.9%), followed by Dacia Duster with 242 units and Skoda Octavia with 185.
