In 2014 the Poland Automotive industry scored the 4th growth in a row thanks to a string of 19th year on year growing month and stable raising consumer demand. Toyota is gaining space behind Volkswagen Group.

In December 2014 according to data released by Polish Automotive Industry Associationtotal new Car Passengers sold in Poland have been 29.165, up 10.3% compared with the correspondent month last year.

With this further double digit performance the market achieved the 19th year on year growth in a row, the best winning string in Europe.

Full Year2014 sales in Poland have been 304.148, up 4.9% from the correspondent period last year.

The best-selling brand in December was Toyota with 3.306 sales (+35.7%), followed by Volkswagen with 3.212 (+36.1%) and Skoda with 3.005 (+0.3%).

However the full year leader was again Skoda with 38.963 units (+7.1%) and a market share of 12.8%, followed by Toyota with 28.464 units (+21.3%) and Volkswagen with 26.142 (+0.1%).

In December spectacular improvement were posted by Nissan (8th with 1.333 units, +93.2%), Lexus (23rd with 299 sales, +260.2%), Jeep (24th with 214 units, +98.1%) and Porsche (28th with 54 units, +107.7%).

As far as the Car Groups performance and ranking the December leader was Volkswagen Group with 25.7% of market share, ahead of Renault-Nissan with 14.1% and Toyota with 12.4%.

As far as best-selling models ranking, the Skoda Octavia was as always on top with 1.127 sales (+21.1%) ahead of Volkswagen Golf  with 992 units (58.2%) and Toyota Yaris with 940 sales (+69.7%).
