UK Best Selling Car Ranking in 2024. The Kia Sportage surged 30.5%, threatening the Ford Puma’s lead, which dropped 2.5%. While Volvo and Volkswagen models entered into the Top 10, the Opel Corsa lost its spot on the podium, down 32.4%.

 

Despite economic challenges, the UK car market rose 2.6% in 2024, staying on the upward trend for the majority of the year. For more precise information, refer to the dedicated article.

Looking at UK best-selling car ranking up to December 2024, the leader was the Ford Puma, with 763,940 sales (+1.8%), followed by the Kia Sportage with 560,265 (+0.9%).

In second place, the Nissan Qashqai with 58.994 sales (-11.7%), of the Toyota Yaris with 56.619 (+12.1%), the Nissan Juke with 54.838 (-15.9%) and the Tesla Model Y 54.239 (+2.5%).

In sixth place, we find the fast-growing Volkswagen Golf with 53.724 sales (+23.4%), followed by the Hyundai Tucson with 52.532 (+3.2%) – down 2 spots – and the MG HS  with 41.671 (+3.1%).

The Volvo XC40 closed the Top 10, with 30,202 units (+12.1%).
