New Zealand Car Market in 2025 stays on track. YTD sales up to September grew by 14.5%, with MG reporting the largest gains, up 41.6% into 6th.  EVs lagged behind, falling 6% to a 13% share.   

New Zealand Best Selling Car Ranking in 2025. The Toyota RAV4 climbed 1 spot in 1st, overtaking the Ford Ranger which fell into 2nd. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross surged 199.2% into 4th while the Honda Jazz dropped 58.5% into 35th.   

New Caledonia's Vehicles Market in 2024 lost 52.8% with 4,034 sales, as a result of social unrest and riots. Changan and Lexus were the standout performer, climbing several spots. 

New Zealand Best Selling Car Ranking in 2024 sees the Toyota RAV4 in 1st with 10,540 sales (+20.3%), followed by the MG 4 which jumped 20 spots. The Kia Seltos, the Honda Jazz and the Ford Everest also made notable leaps into the Top 10.

New Zealand Auto Market negative momentum continues through 2024, with sales falling 20.8% to 87,435. EV segment secures 15.0% share despite falling 27.6%. Chery enters top 10 with triple digit surge (+192.7%).

Australian Vehicles Market continued upward trend in 2024, growing 1.9% and returning to pre-pandemic levels, after the 2020 dip. Although Toyota and Ford were still the best-selling brands, the standout performer was chinese Great Wall, up 467.3% to secure 10th. 

Australia Best Selling Cars Ranking in 2024. The Ford Ranger secured its position as best selling model. The Toyota RAV4 posted an impressive performance, up 98.2% and  ranking 2nd. The Ford Everest notably moved up 14 spots into 6th.

Australia Best Selling Cars ranking in 2023 with a new leader. Ford Ranger (+33.4%) is now on top of the list, followed by the Toyota Hilux (-5.1%). Tesla Model Y jumps 30 spots into 6th (+230.0%).

New Zealand Vehicles Market falls down from the peak. Following the All-time record scored in the previous year, in 2023 sales were 111.903 (-4.0%). Toyota boomed 28.7% doubling the second player result.

New Zealand Best Selling Car in 2023 sees the Toyota RAV4 in pole position with 7.8% market share (+49.2%), followed by the Tesla Model 3 (+63.1%). The BYD Atto 3 booms 105.6% in year-on-year sales making it into 7th spot.
