The Chinese new vehicles market is the largest in the World and is characterized by a very low concentration of sales in the top models. Indeed the top 10 model sales represent only 13.5% of the market, while the top 50 represent 41.7% and the top 100 62%.
In 2021 the Nissan Sylphy maintains the leadership it regained in September 2020 with 500,150 sales (2% market share), followed by the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV -up 57 spots-, which sold 426,484 units (1.7% share), followed by the Volkswagen Lavida with 393,496 units (1.6% share).
In fourth place there is the Haval H6 with 370,438 sales (1.5% share) followed by the Toyota Corolla -up 1 spot- with 321,912 units (1.3% share), the Wuling Mini Truck -down 4 spots- with 294,219 sales (1.2% share), the Changan CS75 -up 4 spots- with 281,862 (1.1% share), and the Tesla Model 3 -up 39 spots- with 272,975 units sold (1.1% share).
In ninth place, the Buick Excelle GT ended up with 263,017 sales (1.1% share), and in 10th place the Wuling Hongguang with 255,922 sales (1% share).
