World Best Selling Pick-Up Ranking in 2024 is lead by Ford F-Series (+1.5%) as for the last 40 years, followed by the Chevrolet Silverado (+1.5%). Ford Maverick booms 51.8% landing within Top 10.
Looking at the best selling models ranking, the leader is always the same, since over 40 years, and is the “American Style” icon, the Ford F-Series, still the best selling model in absolute in USA and Canada.
In 2024, Ford F-Series reported the most volume with 903,454 sales (+1.5%), reaching 14.7% market share.
The Chevrolet Silverado ranked in 2nd place with 639,889 sales (+1.5%), followed by the Toyota Hilux with 513,427 units sold (-8.1%). The Hilux, is the top selling pick up outside of North America. Smaller and more practical, the “king of the Desert” is affordable and high reliable for people travelling in Africa, Middle East and in all deserts, from Mongolia to Australia.
In 4th place ranked the Ram Pick-Up with 430,380 sales (-17.3%), followed by the GMC Sierra with 367,379 sales (+0.6%) and the Ford Ranger with 333,105 (+12.3%).
In 7th place ranked the Toyota Tacoma with 210,819 units sold (-17.3%) followed by the Isuzu D-Max with 202,587 sales (-20.4%), the Toyota Tundra with 176,814 new registrations (+27.1%).
In 10th place the Ford Maverick with 165,203 sales (+51.8%).
