Australia Best Selling Cars Ranking in 2025. The Toyota Prado emerged as new contender, rising 32 spots into into 6th. The Hyundai Konda also posted major gains in 7th while the Toyota Corolla and the MG ZS dropped out of the top 10.
Looking at full-year data, the Australian best-selling cars ranking was led by the Ford Ranger with a 4.8% share (-9.9%). The Toyota RAV4 followed in 2nd with 4.4% (-11.5%), while the Toyota Hilux ranked 3rd with 4.3% (-4.1%).
The Isuzu D-Max ranked 4th (-11.1%) ahead of the Ford Everest -up 1 spot- in 5th (-1.3%) and the Toyota Prado -up 32 spots- in 6th (+166.3%).
The Hyundai Kona -up 10 spots- ranked 7th (+31.1%) followed by the Mazda CX-5 in 8th (-0.4%), the Mitsubishi Outlander -down 4 spots- in 9th (-18.7%) and in 10th place the Tesla Model Y -up 1 spot- (+4.6%).
