Germany Best Selling Cars Ranking in 2024 saw Volkswagen securing all top 3 spots. The Opel Astra notably jumped 21 spots into 5th while the Seat Leon rose 15 spots into 9th.
In this article we are going over the Top 50 models ranking from 2024 of the largest European car market.
The undiscussed leader remained the Volkswagen Golf, which reported 100,183 sales, a 23.5% year-on-year gain.
The Volkswagen T-Roc secured the 2nd spot with 75,398 new sales (+9.8%), in front of the Volkswagen Tiguan which sold 67,507 units (+4.8%).
The Skoda Octavia -up 5 spots- secured 4th position with 50,817 sales (+21.5%), in front of the Volkswagen Passat with 47,720 sales (+0.5%), the Opel Astra – up 21 spots- at 47,601 (-89.7%) and the Opel Corsa -down 3 spots- with 43,467 new sales (-19%).
The BMW X1 -up 2 spots- ranked 8th with 37,154 sales (-0.2%), followed by the Seat Leon -up 14 spots- with 37,129 registrations (+37.2%) and finally the Volkswagen Polo -up 5 spots- with 36,757 units sold (+6.8%).
