Looking at cumulative data from 2022 brand-wise, the the leader is still Toyota with 60.2% market share and a 9.5% increase in sales from the prior year. Mercedes follows in second, with a 36.8% loss in sales and Isuzu ranks in 3rd with a 2.2% increase in volume and 4.9% market share.

Cameroon’s vehicles sector is still populated by imported used vehicles and is facing a negative trend, as new car registrations have declined during the last years. Indeed, the market fell from 3,752 units in 2016 to 3,116 in 2017, while registering a flat performance in 2018 (+1.2% ) at 3,152.
