Norway best selling cars in the 2017 dominated by electric vehicles, with the Volkswagen eGolf on top of the list ahead of the BMW i3 jumped on the podium. The new Toyota C-HR was already within the top 10.

Norwegian Vehicles Market was stable in the 2017, according to data released by the Opplysningsrådet for Veitrafikken AS with new car passenger’s sold at 158.670, down 0.5%.

As far as the best selling cars ranking, the year ended with the victory of the Volkswagen eGolf (sales between traditional combustion and AFVs have been split in two different models) with 6.058 sales (+28.8%), to which add the traditional Volkswagen Golf with 3.394 (-17.3%).

In second place and up 7 spots the BMW i3 with 5.036 sales (+27.4%) followed by  the Toyota RAV4, up 3 spots with 4.821 units (-2.7%).

In fourth place the Tesla Model X with 4.748 (+232%) ahead of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV with 4.081 units (-15.5%), the Toyota Yaris with 4.071 sales (-4.1%) and the Tesla Model S with 3.712 (+81.0%).

In eight place  the Skoda Octavia with 3.604 sales (-5.0%) followed by the new Toyota C-HR with 3.508 and in 10th place by the Nissan Leaf with 3.374 units (-18.9%).
