Polish Cars Sales in December 2022 at 36,872 continue to grow for the 4th month in a row (+2.0%). Despite the momentum built up in the last two quarters, 2022 closes 6.2% lower than 2021 with 419,749 sales.

Market Trend and Outlook

In December 2022 the Polish car market, with 36,872 sales, maintains the momentum built up in the previous 4 months (+2.0%). Despite closing with two consecutive positive quarters, sales in 2022 reach 419,749, 6.2% lower than 2021.

Looking at the top brands of 2022, the leader is still Toyota with 73,862 sales (-0.9%), followed by Skoda in second at 42,067 (-6.7%) and Kia -up 1 spot- with 33,714 sales (+4.3%) overtaking Volkswagen in 4th with 30,813 registrations (-10.5%).

5th place is held by Hyundai at 26,887 (+0.2%), followed by BMW in 6th at 23,806 (-0.8%), Mercedes at 21,356 sales (+6.7%) and Dacia with 20,718 (+3.9%).

Audi moves up 1 spot into 9th position accumulating 19,323 sales (+1.8%), while Ford falls 1 spot into 10th with 16,426 new car registrations (-15.8%).
