Belgium Automotive Industry in 2014 was flat thanks to December sales rush. As in the entire Europe a new brand, with an “old” name is fast growing. It is made in US and with the Renegade will be the 2015 hero as well.

2014 France Car Market was flat albeit negative Q4, pushed up by Renault and Peugeot efforts. Citroen is in difficulties while new brands are growing, led by a turbo-Jeep. In December, Renault Captur was on podium.

Albeit Q4 recover the 2014 was a nightmare for the Turkish Vehicles Market, with sales fell 10% from the previous year. However all premium brand had been positive while Jeep was the emerging brand of the year.

2014 50 Best Selling European Car Brands Ranking. Volkswagen, Renault and Ford again on the podium, but Mercedes leads the group of emerging brands that include Nissan, Dacia, Seat, Jeep and Lexus.

The 100 Best Selling Cars in Europe – full year 2014 ranking was dominated by Volkswagen with an amazing +22% performed by the Golf and with Polo beating Clio, Fiesta and Focus. Toyota Yaris shines.

2014 Swiss Vehicle Market dominated by Volkswagen doubling the second, BMW, with over 40.000 units sold. Volkswagen Golf, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Polo have been the best-selling models.

Greece Car Market soared 21% in 2014 pushed up by strong recovery in the Greek economy. In December sales jumped 50 percent up. Opel Corsa ends the annual race on top of the list.

2014 Czech Republic Vehicle Market hits all-time record beating the previous record by over 18.000 units with the best performance in Europe. A great news for the Volkswagen Group, absolute dominator of the market.

Romanian Automotive Industry recovers in the 2014 posting a +21.6% from the previous year albeit still very far from the pre-crisis level. Behind the domestic player Dacia, Skoda is fast growing.

2014 Portugal Vehicles Market rebounded with Renault, Volkswagen and Peugeot ending the race on the podium. Model ranking was leaded by Renault Clio, VW Golf and Nissan Qasquai. See details here.
