Looking at cumulative sales up to August 2024, the Toyota RAV4 was still the best-selling car, holding a 9.3% market share with 5,141 new sales (+0.5%).
In second position ranked the MG 4 -up 56 spots- with 5.77% share and 3,187 new registrations (+3402%), ahead of the Mitsubishi ASX -down 6 spots- with 2,278 sales (+18.6%).
The Mitsubishi Outlander gained 2 spots into 4th with 2,166 sales (-7.8%), followed by the Honda Jazz -up 10 spots- with 2,114 new registrations (+54%).
Kia Seltos -up 9 spots- ranked in 6th with 2,006 sales (+50.4%), followed by the Suzuki Swift -down 4 spots- with 1,971 registrations (-32.5%) and the Ford Escape -up 24 spots- at 1,537 units sold (+79.8%).
At the bottom of the leaderboard, the Tesla Model Y -down 1 spot- ranked in 9th with 1,349 sales (-38.6%) and the Hyundai Kona closed the Top 10, climbing 3 spots with 1,280 registrations (-13.5%).
