After 5 consecutive years of growth, New Caledonia’s Vehicles Market fell 52.8% in 2024. With 4,034 units, sales were affected by the adverse socio-economic environment, totalling almost half of last year’s figures.
Looking at full-year data for 2024 brand-wise, the leader was Toyota (-17.7%), followed by Kia (+57.6). Changan ranked 3rd, rising 708.8% and climbing 10 spots, followed by Hyundai, down 2.2%, in 4th, while MG -down 2 spots- ranked 5th down 46.1%.
The best selling vehicle was the Toyota Hilux (-40.8), followed by the Dacia Duster, which lost 7.6%, and the Suzuki Swift, down 47.5%.
