Indonesian Vehicles Market in 2025 experiences losses. YTD sales up to September fell 11.3%, with BYD and Chery being the only top brands to defy the contraction and surging in triple digits.    

Singapore Car Market in 2025 continues to grow. YTD sales up to August gained 25.7%, with BYD overtaking Toyota and securing top spot. Tesla also reported notable gains, while Hyundai and Nissan fell in double digits. 

ASEAN Best Selling Cars Ranking in 2024 confirmed Toyota’s dominance, with three models in the Top 10 despite losses. The Hilux held the top spot, followed by the Perodua Myvi, while the Isuzu D-Max fell in double digits to third.

Cambodia auto market is slightly up in 2024. Total sales in March reached 2,425 (+6.9%). Sales in Q1 up to 8,120 units.

Myanmar Vehicles Market in 2025 is expanding. Q1 figures rose 25.7%, with BYD, MG, Leap Motor and Neta securing a share of 85%. EV segment lags behind ASEAN trends but still report notable growth. 

Malaysia Vehicle Market hit a decade-high in 2024, with sales rising 2.1% to 806,270 units, driven by strong economic growth. Chery and BYD led with standout performances.

Lao Vehicle Market in 2024 experienced momentum. Sales grew 9.7%, building on the impressive performance of recent years. BYD posted the most robust performance, surpassing Hyundai and ranking 2nd. 

Thailand best-selling cars ranking in 2019 saw the historical leader - the Toyota Hilux - back on top, overtaking the Isuzu D-Max. The Ford Ranger conquered the podium, but the Mazda2 and the Toyota Yaris were just a few units behind.

Indonesian Vehicles Sales slightly fall back in 2023. New vehicles sales in 2023 have been 1,02 million (-4.1%),  breaking a 3 year positive streak. Toyota remains best-selling brand (+1.6%).

Brunei vehicles market grows despite the global pandemic affecting sales in almost every market. Indeed, Full Year 2020 sales have been 12.183, up 2.3% compared to 2019. Toyota remains the undiscussed leader holding 24.7% of market share.
